Come join us for an upcoming group! K-equine assisted psychotherapy groups are held at Chastain Horse Park in an outdoor covered arena. The session dates fluctuate each month and are posted a few months before the start date of the group. K-equine’s monthly newsletter called The Rusty Stirrup also announces new program offerings including details for upcoming groups.
Our horse herd has various personalities, sizes and colorings and are part of each group therapy session. We observe and interact with the horses from the ground (no horseback riding). A licensed therapist leads each group therapy session with a Chastain Horse Park appointed PATH certified equine specialist. We welcome anyone new to horses to join a group – no prior horse experience is needed!
